Retreat: Scientific and Engineering Foundations of IS&T Saturday, May 8, 2004 8:15am to 3:00pm Lory Student Center Mission Statement To make introductions that are not yet made between various disciplines of the CSU campus, explore opportunitites for collaboration across discipline boundaries, introduce each other to new problems, and provide a forum where people can share ideas, no matter how whimsical, with others who might then help to refine or extend these ideas. The intended outcome is the beginning of a roadmap, around which CSU might shape a program of investments in Information Science and Technology, designed to enhance the scale and scope of its interdisciplinary research.
